Still deciding how to spend your last night of 2013? Here are five of our best bets (see the calendar for more fun festivities)!
Cocktailing:
Jose Andres’ BarMini is one of the best places to be for creative bartending as the ball drops. Attendees will experience a progression of elixirs created by cocktail innovator (and Eater’s National Bartender of the Year!) Juan Coronado. $275, reservations here.
Messy & Memorable:
ArtJamz brings back its sketchy soiree — GlitterBall! Party participants will each have a canvas to make art in action… or their own imaginative resolution. Prices vary, info here.
Legends (of the Fur):
Sure, Kabin Nightclub’s party sounds like your regular NYE nightout, complete with bar service and dancing. But those that spend $1500 on a table not only get Top 40 mash-ups and cocktails at an alpine inspired lounge…. they’ll have their bottles delivered by Big Foot. $75 – $1500, info here.
Brazilians!:
You bet your bikini they’ll be there (and get your mind out of the gutter!) at Malmaison as the typically French restaurant/music house goes below the equator for 2014’s NYE excitement. Open bar 9-1. $125, info here.
Glow for It:
One part stage show, the other a night of glow. It’s all theatrical when Woolley Mammoth invites the stand-up/sketch comedy/improv mash-up comedic duo The Pajama Men to perform their latest before heading into an open bar “Glow in the Dark” gala. $100+, info here.
