Fashion for Autism Gets “Significant” at Georgetown’s City Tavern Club

“Be significant” was the challenged raised by Fashion for Autism Friday evening at the City Tavern Club.  The art, music and fashion benefit, started in 2009 by clothing designer Edwing D’Angelo (at right with Rokas Beresniovas), made its DC debut this year, featuring an evening of creative expression to raise funds for implementation of fashion design programs created specifically for children with autism.

Among the significant and socially conscious in attendance: Betsey Johnson of Georgetown’s Jenny Zinn, pianist Edvinas Minkstimas, Charm’s Jaclyn Mason, Rolling Stone’s Nelson Lewis, Miss DC 2010 Stephanie Williams, and the dapper Don Patron (modeling too sexy short shorts at left).
