Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Evermay’s S & R Foundation Holds First Ever Easter Egg Hunt

Before the Easter Bunny rolled into town to roll at the White House Monday morning, the season’s fluffy friend stopped by Georgetown’s Evermay Estate to celebrate Spring with the S&R Foundation.

At this first ever event, families enjoyed a day of fun that included photos with Mr. Bunny, an egg hunt, balloon animals, games, and crafts, in addition to a concert and art exhibition! Treats from Georgetown Cupcake were also served.

The S&R Foundation is a nonprofit organization which “support(s) talented individuals with great potential and high aspirations in the sciences and arts, especially those who are furthering international cultural collaboration.”
