On October 15th, Chicago-based sommelier, author and founder of Shall We Wine, Regine Rousseau will host an evening of Words & Wine, presented by City Winery DC.
During the special event, Rousseau will guide attendees through a unique tasting experience, as she pairs a selection of finely crafted wines with thought-provoking poetry from her new book, Searching for Cloves and Lilies: The Wine Edition. Inspired by love, loss and life experiences, listeners will enjoy fun and flirty ballads, and soulful soliloquies, paired with red and white spirits that inspire similar tastes and flavors.

  1. How exciting and fun for you. I”m not a wine drinker but sure looks like some good stuff, love the bottles how they are labeled. That food sure made me hungry just looking at it, wow, what a great place huh? The downtown kinda looks like Grand Junction’s downtown which is always busy with some event or another. We have several wineries in town just east of G.J.called Palisade and several wine events are hosted around Palisade and G.J. Maybe someday you’ll be planing this way. All in all how exciting for anybody to attend a wonderful event like you are. Look forward to seeing more of your photos and hearing all about it. Have wonderful time.
