The Washington DC Travel & Adventure Show returns to the Washington Convention Center February 4-5 with thousands of travel options for those who are looking to plan their vacations and destination events. Celebrities like Samantha Brown of PBS “Samantha Brown’s Places to Love”, CBS travel editor Peter Greenberg and travel authors Patricia Schultz and Andrew McCarthy will be among the notables on stage and meeting with fans.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face travel experts from around the world. From Europe to Asia and from African to Caribbean destinations, plus North American vacation favorites, dozens upon dozens of booths will be set up. The price of admission includes access to a myriad of educational and culturally focused sessions on three stages located on the show floor
“At the Travel & Adventure Show, you will have the chance to meet one-on-one with representatives from the top travel brands in the world. What’s more, each of these representatives are there to help plan, personalize and book the right trip, at the price,” said John Golicz, CEO of Unicomm, LLC, the producer of the Travel & Adventure Show Series.
One of the highlights of the DC Travel & Adventure Show is the opportunity to meet and gain inspiration from the world’s top travel experts and celebrities as they present seminars and answer questions over the two-day event. Among those in the Travel Theater will be:
- Peter Greenberg, CBS travel editor
- Samantha Brown, host of PBS “Samantha Brown’s Places to Love”
- Patricia Schultz, best-selling author of 1000 Places to See Before You Die
- Andrew McCarthy, award winning actor, travel writer
Throughout the Travel & Adventure Show are stages where visitors may interact with travel experts on subjects ranging from packing and travel technology, how to travel solo, budget travel hacks and minimizing environmental impact through sustainable travel. The highlight of this event are the hundreds of experts from around the world who give destination-specific information on when to go, how to get there, what to see and off the beaten path attractions.
In addition to expert representatives in each booth, attendees will receive access to tens-of-thousands of dollars in exclusive, show-only travel deals and specials throughout the weekend.
