Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. ROCK OUT with your Citizens Association Georgetown friends and neighbors on Thursday, March 26th from 6-8, with local musicians SWAGFUNK. Groove with their musical stylings that include Funk, R&B, Pop, Hip Hop, Rock and Fusion that will have everyone on their feet and dancing the night away.
The super cool, industrial loft-style Capital One Café will be hosting with drinks and bites.  There are dates, bands and some exciting news to share about the concerts and of course, some sweet Concerts “Swag” to take home with you.
The Concerts “After Hours” party is INVITATION ONLY, but don’t worry about getting on the “list” or waiting behind the velvet rope: everyone who makes a $75 donation to CAG’s Concerts in the Parks by March 15th will receive an invitation (until capacity).
