Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Picnic Theatre Company returns to Dumbarton House!

Join on September 8th, 9th, or 10th (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday) when Picnic Theatre Company returns to Dumbarton House for a ten-year anniversary live outdoor theater performance of the award-winning 1950 classic All About Eve! Enjoy a picnic in the gardens of one of Georgetown’s most beautiful historic houses, and be transported to the golden age of Broadway for a timeless tale of ruthless ambition in show business.

One night, Broadway diva Margo Channing meets her biggest fan, the young and conniving Eve Harrington, who will do anything to achieve the spotlight. The world of actors, playwrights, producers, directors, critics and striving performers offstage playing commercials for Lux Radio and waiting for their big break come to life. Will Eve attain her dream of stardom, and at what cost?
