Park Hyatt Washington, the city’s most sophisticated, pet-friendly hotel, will host its annual series of Paws at the Park after-work happy hours, benefiting the Washington Animal Rescue League. Area residents and hotel guests are invited to bring their dogs to meet and mingle on the hotel’s outdoor grounds. Adoptable animals from the League’s shelter will be present for attendees to interact with, and to perhaps find a new home.

WHEN:           Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  Additional Paws at the Park events are scheduled for September 18, and a Halloween-themed costume contest on October 23, 2013.

HOW:            Tickets are priced at $14, which includes two drink vouchers for beer and wine, plus complimentary dog treats.  Events are open to the public and all are welcome to attend. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the League.
