The Tea: Navasha Daya
In this online series, women musicians perform original work via livestream on the first Friday of the month. Each session includes a short interview, conducted over a cup of tea that explores the artist’s creative process. The Tea proudly welcomes Navasha Daya in September. The event streams live on NMWA’s Facebook page and at nmwa.org/livestream.

Navasha Daya is a gifted recording and performing artist, songwriter/singer, composer, producer, arranger, choreographer, curator and cultural arts activist who is known as a breathtaking performer. She has inspired women around the world, charting at #2 on Japan’s jazz and dance iTunes charts numerous times. Daya’s most recent album was listed as one of the 50 best soul albums of 2016 by Soultracks. Her impact on the world also reaches far beyond the stage and walls of the recording studio.
