What: 2013 Fall Benefit: An Evening with Elizabeth Futral
The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) will present the Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts to Elizabeth Futral, the brilliant Metropolitan Opera singer. Futral’s remarkable vocalism and dramatic range have established her as one of the world’s leading sopranos. Her repertoire includes a strong variety from the Baroque to world premieres. She has performed all over the world.

NMWA’s annual fundraiser will feature a cocktail reception, a seated dinner by Occasions and a performance by Futral. Proceeds from this event underwrite the Shenson Chamber Music Concerts, led by Artistic Director Gilan Tocco Corn, and support the museum’s education programs.
