You finished your movie but now you begin the REAL work- getting it out there for people to see. Jon Gann, author, film producer, and founder of multiple film festivals worldwide, explores screenwriting and storytelling, from defining an audience, to creating an enticing log line and treatment, the role of film and screenplay festivals, and the importance of joining a writing community.

About the Artist
Jon is a film producer and director, creating award-winning commercial, documentary and narrative films since 2000. His latest documentary, “Miss Alma Thomas: A Life in Color,” about the often-overlooked DC- based Black Woman artist, was created for a gallery retrospective, which is traveling to museums around the country. He is the founder of DC Shorts, a non-profit organization championing short film-making, and the creator of the DC Shorts Film Festival, one of the country’s premier short film showcases.
