Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. As fireworks illuminate the night sky after the sunset, celebrate America’s Birthday with a Silent Dance party right in the heart of the nation’s capital at the Georgetown Waterfront. Enjoy ultimate Silent Disco experience, fireworks, then dance the night away to electric beats by 3 different live DJs, hula dance performances & more.
7:30pm-9:00pm – Pick up your headsets and kick-off the Independence Day celebration with Silent Disco at Malmaison – 3 Music Channels – 3 Live DJs –  Hula Dance Performances
9:00pm-9:30pm Crossover to the Georgetown Waterfront Park without loosing the beat & take in spectacular views of the Fireworks
