Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. “Havana Nights” at the Rooftop at Kimpton Mason & Rook Hotel – Friday, August 31

To kick off Labor Day weekend, the Radiator team will embrace the island flavors of Cuba and host a “Havana Nights” fiesta on the rooftop at Kimpton Mason & Rook Hotel. On Friday, August 31, Executive Chef Jonathan Dearden will be cooking up a selection of complimentaryCuban-inspired snacks. Food lovers will delight in Latin-inspired bites such as Tostones (shrimp, avocado, black beans, corn salsa), Summer Rolls (green papaya, mango, chili pepper, lime, cilantro), and Chicken Tacos (jicama, yellow salsa). Chef Jonathan’s popular Cuban-American mash-up Cubano Sandwich (chorizo, serrano ham, braised pork, mustard, pickles) will also be making a special appearance. To help guests feel refreshed and festive, the Radiator bar team will be shaking up tropical cocktails for purchase. ¡Que Deliciosa!

 

“Havana Nights” will take place on Friday, August 31 from 5:00 p.m. until close, weather permitting. Entry is free. Guests must be 21+ to attend.
