Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). The Capitol Polo Foundation has partnered with several environmental non-profit organizations for its upcoming Green Cup Polo event on September 7th at the Capitol Polo Club in Poolesville, MD to raise awareness about climate change and other environmental issues.

To kick off the weekend’s activities, there is a Happy Hour at The Graham rooftop in Georgetown on Friday, September 6th .
