Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). March Industry Takeover Night

Industry Takeover Night returns to Graffiato on Monday, March 3. A group of local chefs who are featured in Eat Ink, a new cookbook with stories, recipes and photos from prominent tattoo’d chefs around the country, will gather to show off their cooking and give away copies of the book to the first 20 people in line at the door. 

Andrew Markert, Executive Chef at Beuchert’s Saloon, Will Morris, Executive Chef at Vermilion, and Ed Witt of the forthcoming The Partisan will be joined by barkeep Rachel Sergi of Lincoln.

Industry Takeover Nights are open to the public. From 10pm to 1am, guest chefs serve complimentary late night snacks at the first floor pizza bar, and the bar offers drink specials, including some libations from guest mixologists. A $10 cash-only cover charge is requested at the door, and 50% is donated to a different charity benefactor each month. This month, Oyster Recovery will be the beneficiary.
