Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Join Gourmet Symphony for local brews, homegrown tunes, and barbecue at the Beuchert’s Saloon garden patio. In this second installment of The Saloon Concert Series, you will savor American tunes to the taste of Chef Drew’s smoked and grilled noms. And what goes with BBQ? Beer. Our friends at Atlas Brew Works and Charm City Meadworks will offer tastings of their artisanal craft beers and meads. The musical stylings will be provided by Capital Reeds, DC’s premiere reed trio, who will perform a few short pieces by American composers.

Ticket includes: beer tastings, passed small plates & live chamber music.
