“We are eagerly anticipating Corcoran Family Day 2014: The Great Escape,” said Sarah Durkee, Vice President of Public Education at the Corcoran. “Family Day has become such a fun and popular annual tradition, and on March 8, families will have the chance to travel through different times and places represented by the Corcoran’s collection, with local teaching artists and performers to serve as their guides. We are looking forward to welcoming back families who have come before and to meeting new families attending this year for the first time.”

Corcoran members at the Family Level and above enjoy early admission at 9:30 a.m. to select workshops and ace painting. Admission to the Corcoran during this full day of fun is FREE. The event is open to the public, and no registration is required, except for a select workshop where indicated. For more information, please visit
