Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Dreaming Out Loud works to create economic opportunities for the DC metro region’s marginalized communities, through building a healthy, equitable food system and has announced its fifth installment of the Fall Annual Festival, which will take place on Sat, October 8th, 2022 at 10 am to 2 pm in Washington, DC.

This year’s fall festival is a celebration of the end of the farm season and is designed to complement DOL’s programs.Featuring a mix of entertainment and networking opportunities, DOL’s Fall Festival will equip attendees with knowledge about the source of their food in a fun and unique environment. Individuals and families will also have a chance to interact with farmers, their peers, and vendors while enjoying mouth-watering delicacies.
Sponsors and or exhibitors are encouraged to participate in the event for a chance to promote their work within the community, showcase products/services, and to connect with end users.

This event will be in-person at 301 49TH ST. NE, Washington DC, behind Kelly Miller Middle School.
