Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Details: Described as a match made in liquid heaven, this event combines coffee and beer, two favorites of New Belgium’s Master Blender and Sensory Specialist Lauren Salazar. The event is a special collaboration between New Belgium, Tryst and Counter Culture Coffee. For one night only, Tryst will serve a very special barrel of New Belgium blended sour ale with Counter Culture cold brew. Lauren will be on-site to discuss the blend and celebrate her passion for these ingredients. She summarized her excitement for this project with these three words: “It’s my Christmas.”
