“What goes around, comes around, and it starts with yourself,” says Erwin Gomez. The local make-up and eyebrow guru to the stars is opening the new KARMA Beauty Lounge later this Spring in West End.
“I want my clients to have an experiential journey every time they have an appointment,” he says of the new salon, where he asserts that every guest will be treated “as friends” and will receive the “Erwin Gomez Experience” — that is, Gomez’s “perfect atmosphere of being humble, real and hands on,” whether it’s for Gomez’s own favorite spa treatment (microdermabrasion facial with oxygen!!) or a traditional cut and color.
And while the style setter won’t comment on what will become of the former Erwin Gomez Salon with which he was affiliated (so much for the Year of the Dragon…), Gomez is feeling good about where his KARMA will take him. The new salon, which boasts the opportunity for new guests to interview artists before making spa/salon appointments, will carry Gomez’s own new cosmetics line.
