Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Endorphin ‘High’

A consortium of ten Fitness Together studios from the DC area sponsored an active event high atop the Liaison Capitol Hill Tuesday night to kick off their sponsorship of  the American Diabetes Association’s annual “Step Out:
Walk to Fight Diabetes” scheduled for Oct. 23 in DC.


This summer fun business-casual event included music, poolside workout demonstrations by Fitness Together’s top trainers and hors d’oeuvres from celebrity chef Art Smith’s Art and Soul.
