Dueling Designs: Lincoln Hosts Designing Luxury Luncheon

It was all about drive and design last week at Long View Gallery as Lincoln Motor Company co-hosted a “Designing Luxury” lunch with interior designers Rob Brown and Todd Davis of Brown Davis Interiors.  After viewing a prototype of the all-new 2015 Lincoln MKC, guests were invited to dish with the experts about how the design principles of a comfortable car were so similar to those of their dream Castle.

Lincoln MKC exterior designer Dillon Blanski and Antonio Molinari, interior designer, were on hand at the luncheon event to compare IMG_9425strategies with Brown and Davis, a duo who have designed such notable residences as one for President and Secretary Clinton and the British Embassy.

One thing the designs all had in common: clients always want a spacious appearance (the MKC’s is helped by a rear clamshell lift gate) and for form to jive with function.

The all-new 2015 Lincoln MKC is scheduled to be on sale in Lincoln showrooms this summer.
