Pink was the right color to be wearing last Thursday evening, as supporters packed the fifth floor at Sibley Hospital’s new medical office building. Dr. Ronald S. Perlman hosted the third annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month Kick Off Party to benefit the Sibley Sullivan Breast Health Center.
Guests might have been lured by Cafe Milano’s delicious Italian feast. Their signature blue and white striped shirt waiter kept everyone’s glass festively filled with Prosecco… and almost made it feel like back on Prospect Street.
It also might have been The Pie Sisters abundant delights that kept guests lingering as they enjoyed opportunities for door prizes, raffles, and product displays. One room was certainly crammed during a very popular demo. Even Miss DC 2014 Teresa Davis couldn’t resist them!
However, one of the most major perks to rally the troops had to have been the Botox and Juvederm discounts offered for the week of Oct 13-17.
Maybe helping kick breast cancer can look as good as it feels.
