Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Dinner & Dancing at Newest Nosh in the Neighborhood “Noelia”

There’s a new Italian stallion in the old Finemondo space in Downtown DC.  Kaiser Gill recently announced that he’ll be opening his first restaurant venture in the nation’s capital, Noelia Italian Kitchen.

Get excited for flatbreads and fagioli from this former FBIer (from peacekeeping operations to pizza parties — for real!) who’s excited to offer not only upscale casual dining, but also… a 1,400 square-foot dance floor!  That’s right — your “boot” bites will become a bash on Friday and Saturday nights from 11 PM to 2 PM with a rotating list of DJs and live musicians for late night dancing.

“I am opening Noelia Italian Kitchen because it is the kind of place I like to go for dinner and dancing with my wife, which I believe is missing in this area of downtown Washington,” explained Gill.  “We want to present an inviting restaurant with good food — Italian being my favorite — that is well priced and a great place to meet for lunch and dinner… [and] the dance floor and bar gives us a nice setting for late night fun.”
