Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Diageo Makes Maple Holiday Magic at the Howard Theatre

Monday night, Diageo brought together spirits enthusiasts and industry insiders for its annual holiday party at the Howard Theatre, boasting a musical performance by Raheem Devaughn — to accompany attendees’ own entertainment in photo booths and with ice sculptures — not to mention Diago’s own product pours.

But the real reason guests like Lexy Karolyi, Yodit Gebreyes (in own Instagram photo, above), Carlita Pitts, Johnna Rowe and Miles Gray rallied on the Manic Monday was to be among the first to taste the brand new Crown Royal Maple, debuting at the event.
