Del Campo Crushes the Spring Outdoor Patio Game : K Street Magazine

The sun is out, and so is Del Campo’s South American beer garden.

Last Monday head chef and owner, Victor Albisu, invited guests to the grand opening of its spring beer garden. Chef Albisu and family and friends mingled and dined with guests, and served as resident experts on Del Campo’s menu and South American culture and cuisine.

The beer garden, which is located in a large courtyard just north of Chinatown, is a welcome addition to the neighborhood – and a quiet oasis from the hustle bustle of downtown Chinatown.

Guests were invited to try the new beer garden asado menu and dined on family style plates of steak, pulled pork, musses, salmon, grilled artichoke hearts and more. There was a wide variety of South American chorzio which paired well with the never ending flowing wine — there was even a patio cocktail bar with rum punch and Pisco drinks.
