Just like your closet, your favorite boutique needs a little refresh every now and then.
It all started in Potomac Greens. Former politico Elizabeth Mason opened Periwinkle in 2005 to pair a fashion fetish with her unique knowledge of what women want. And now, after eight years of dressing Washington area women from head to toe, the city’s first Periwinkle (a second location exists in Shirlington Village) unveiled a new look — and some fresh fashion — at a dazzling breakfast preview last Friday.
Remodeled to Periwinkle perfection, with black and white accents, the store’s sparkly newness includes expanded men’s and children’s collections, a shoe nook, easier to shop fixtures and an eye-catching candy bar.
Celebrations for Periwinkle’s luxe new look continued with a evening party and specials during re-opening week, including raffles for coveted swag bags of Periwinkle goodies.
Mason also looks forward to sharing news of the new look when Periwinkle participates in next week’s District Sample Sale.
