Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. DCJCC Screens ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ Ahead of Netflix Debut

Looking to relive those summer camp glory days?? The Washington DCJCC has your hookup… not a hot second before you’ll likely fall into NetFlix binge watch mode.

The DCJCC, as part of its year-round film program, will be screening “Wet Hot American Summer” next Tuesday, July 14, ahead of Netflix’s launch of a new prequel series to the cult comedy later this month.

Tickets to the DCJCC’s screening are $13 and come with one free drink voucher for a happy hour before the film. The screening starts at 7:30pm, and the happy hour will take place from 5-7pm.
