DC Wins Lil Wayne TIDAL Concert

We won.  Lil Wayne is coming.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper, in partnership with TIDAL, recently announced that, as a result of thousands of fans voting in TIDAL’s tour contest, he will come to DC on December 21 as a part of the TIDAL X: Lil Wayne I Ain’t Sh*t Without You Fan Appreciation Tour.  Other winning cities on the tour include Houston, Atlanta, and Chicago.

Earlier this year, Lil Wayne closed out the 4^th annual TIDAL X: Brooklyn benefit concert, telling the audience, “I ain’t sh*t without you.”  Now the rapper will be giving thanks to his loyal fans by performing tracks off his long-awaited Tha Carter V, as well as his classic hits.  TIDAL members can head to TIDAL.com/LilWayne to register for tickets.

The concert series adds to TIDAL’s growing TIDAL X: program that brings fans closer to their favorite artists through exclusive listening events, concerts, meet and greets and more. Beyoncé, Damian Marley, Jack White, Nicki Minaj, Miguel, Meek Mill, Jaden Smith, Juanes and Nick Jonas have all participated in the program.
