DC Welcomes Custom Clothier Michael Andrews Bespoke

Buy, Buy Boys!  A “Best Of” the Big Apple is opening a second studio mid-October in DC, just in time for holiday parties and inaugural balls.

Michael Andrews Bespoke specializes in slim-fit suits, shirts, tuxedos, sports coats, trousers, and overcoats for men, cut to clients’ precise measurements — which are taken by Michael Andrews himself.

DC already has a number of custom clothiers and traditional tailors, but the addition of Michael Andrews Bespoke — alongside Alton Lane, Streets of Georgetown, and the city’s other new guy-geared shopping destinations — shows that Washington’s man style is in full swing.

So, what do men want? Suits at Michael Andrews Bespoke are entirely personally selected, from the inner and outer patterns to thread color and button type (wood, horn, or mother-of-pearl) at three distinct levels: Entrada (most affordable), Primo (most popular) and Ultimo (most exclusive).  Custom shirts, ties, and artistic cuff links round out the wardrobe.

But one of the most anticipated aspects of an appointment is actually… lingering at the lavish eight-foot long, fully stocked bar.   It seems bespoke with a beverage is always your best bet.

*Michael Andrews Bespoke will be located at 1604 17th Street, NW.
