Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). I went to the press conference for the introduction of DC United’s new Argentinean midfielder, Marcelo Gillardo, yesterday. I’m surprised at how ‘compact’ the soccer studs always seem to be, but I don’t doubt his mastery on the field. They showed a video montage that made him seem like the soccer Superman!
