Guests were transported to Kentucky for an evening of live music, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and guided whiskey tastings as they paid homage to the iconic bourbon cathedral, Stitzel-Weller Distillery during Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey‘s DC launch last week at Jack Rose Dining Saloon.
American Whiskey Educator Doug Kragel (at right) hosted the exclusive DC launch and guided tasting — an intimate experience to be one of the first in DC to try Blade & Bow’s premium offerings, already honored with awards including Blade and Bow 22-Year-Old’s“Best Straight Bourbon” accolade at the 2015 San Francisco Spirits Competition and recently the Chairman’s Trophy and a score of 99 at the 2016 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
