DC Entrepreneurship Week Closes at the All-New Dirty Martini

There were some plucky partiers Friday night at the brand new Dirty Martini, finally open to the public after a marathon build-out.  (Remember how that “Coming Summer 2010” sign was still up in early November??) But the night’s guests knew all about the hurdles to having a successful business – most were entrepreneurs themselves!

The evening’s festivities were to celebrate the closing of DC Entrepreneur Week, a first of its kind symposium in the region to honor business owners and teach ways to make those businesses thrive.  Attendees, which included Merrill Lynch’s Justin Wine, Silver Strategy’s Tara Chantal Silver, and RGI Events’ Rachael Glaws were wowed by the venue’s chic new decor, impressive signature cocktail menu and lounge-y restaurant attitude.

At DCEW they had the chance to pitch an angel investor their business plan – coming in with an idea, leaving with a potential pile of money.  At the DCEW Closing party, they came clean… and left dirty.
