Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. ‘Dates’ with the Brunettes

365 days of Brunette.

The Brunettes, of Blondes vs. Brunettes fame, touted the release of their practice calendar Thursday night at the City Tavern Club in Georgetown. Guests were seeking autographs of the players and cheerleaders who will take to the field at the annual fundraising game for the Alzheimer’s Association on Saturday, November 14th. (I signed one, though I’m not pictured in the calendar… that guy’s gonna have a great July!)

The night’s other selling point was the silent auction, which ignited a showdown. Apparently being with the Brunettes was well worth it. Noted: A ride to the airport with a Brunette serenade can be a big money maker!

An after party at just-up-the-road George ended the evening. Not quite that end of date kiss on the front porch.. Still looking to score dates with the Brunettes? Sources tell us a limited number of calendars are still available.
