CSAAC Raises Funds and Fun at K Street Lounge

by John Boit

Thursday evening, K Street Lounge was the location of a benefit to raise money for autism services provided by Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children (CSAAC) based in Maryland.

WJLA meteorologist Doug Hill, who served as auctioneer, is shown here with autism services pioneer Jane Salzano, who founded Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children more than 30 years ago.

Supporters (left to right) Anna Golden, Wendy Lafferman and Mike Herson (Herson had himself auctioned off for a dinner date, raising several hundred dollars!)

CSAAC is the largest provider in the nation to serve individuals with autism exclusively with comprehensive programs from early childhood through retirement.
