Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Creative & Culinary – ArtJamz Peeks and Paints at Lincoln

ArtJamz broke into DC’s restaurant scene in a big way Thursday night, holding its post-modern painting party at the soon to be opened Lincoln.


Brushstrokes happened among beats from the DJ and between bites from Lincoln Chef Demetrio Zavala.  And Lincoln’s interior design diva Maggie O’Neill worked artfully alongside the budding brush-wielders to lend her support… and maybe a starting sketch!


Already proving to be a favorite evening out activity, Thursday’s  pre-Valentine’s event brought out some creative couples, including Bryan and Nadine Namoff, Brian and Leigh MacDonald, and Laura Carlson and Jim Tierney.
