Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Comedy of Errors

This month there are happenings aplenty at the historic Folger Shakespeare Library for Washington literateurs, including the Folger’s production of the farcical Comedy of Errors (tix $30-$60), which is running through March 6.

In this slapstick “romedy,” two sets of twins are shipwrecked on an island and become separated from their “better half.” A cluster of confusions and mistaken identities nearly does the foursome in, but, of course, the brothers are reunited and discover the healing bonds of love and family on their chaotic ride.

It’s a bad day for them, but a roaring good time for the audience – an identity crisis that’s a must see for any doppleganger enthusiast!
