Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Citizens Association of Georgetown Dances After Dark

Georgetown has a unique combination of history, style, and fascination.  Mix the neighborhood moxie in with mingling of notable names… and the annual Citizens Association of Georgetown (CAG) event is an event not to be missed!

2015’s annual event, titled “Bar 1878: Georgetown After Dark”,” brought together over 400 residents, organizations, businesses, and politicos to celebrate CAG’s mission of historic preservation and enhanced community at Georgetown’s The Four Seasons.  Cocktails, a tempting silent auction, festive food, and lively entertainment from the popular BroadSide Sound Band had neighbors dancing the night away.

Among those in attendance were Georgetowners Mark and Sally Ein, Bill Dean, Pat Ryan, Kristen and John Cecchi, Jennifer Altimus, Ada Polla, John Dreyfuss, and ANC Commissioners Monica Roache and Bill Starrels.
