They called it a CÎROC® The Block. We’ll call it boozy bowling. And it’s even cooler than cosmic.
Monday night, Ciroc hosted their first annual CÎROC® The Block charity event at Lucky Strike in Chinatown. In an effort to celebrate the uniqueness of DC’s diverse neighborhoods — and the people and organizations that make the city so memorable — Ciroc reserved 10 lanes, each representing a different neighborhood charity, with each charity competing for a grand prize check of $1,000 from Ciroc.
Of course the night featured an open CIROC cocktail bar as well as strikes and gutterballs.
Participating charities included the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Adam’s Morgans’ DC Arts Center, Dupont Circle’s Capital Pride Organization, U Street’s Friends of Harrison Recreation Center, Greater Washington Urban League of Columbia Heights, Chinatown’s DC Central Kitchen, Anacostia’s The Green Scheme, H Street’s H Street Main Street, K Street’s Safe Shores and the competition’s winner, The Howard Theatre Restoration fund.
