For the first time in its 102 year history, the National Cherry Blossom Festival is offering local Maryland, DC and Virginia residents the opportunity to score a coveted slot to sing in the National Cherry Blossom Parade. This first annual Sing Into Spring competition is accepting submissions online through November 15th, inviting all local vocalists (ages 8 and up) to participate.
Twenty finalists will be selected to move forward and perform live at Hard Rock Café in early January in front of a panel of celebrity judges who will ultimately select up to four winners to perform live in the Parade — the largest annual spectator event in the region – on April 12.
