Celebrating Six at Bibiana

Osteria Bibiana Enoteca feted its sixth anniversary in downtown DC last week by raising a glass and some gourmet to six years in business.

A gem of Ashok Bajaj‘s restaurant empire, Bibiana is so much more than a ‘pasta place.’  For the last six years, it has been DC’s go to — garnering a generous number of accolades — for special occasions, power networking meals, and, simply, those nights when you’re craving something simply delicious.Bibiana Anniversary 2015-06-7995

Bibiana’s anniversary reception featured dishes from six regions in Italy, including porchetta, mini calzones, steak tartare garnished with quail egg, Italian apple cake, candied walnuts, and cherry chocolate-filled cannolis.

Among those in attendance were Catherine Merrill Williams of Washingtonian, Manuel Roig-Franzia of The Washington Post, FedScoop’s Cheryl Romero, and Hay-Adams VP and General Manager Hans Bruland.
