Cali State Society’s Inaugural Luncheon Fashion Show

Every four years, the California State Society and Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) present a Presidential Inaugural Luncheon and Fashion Show.  This time barbie2around, the fantastically fashionable event was held at the Ritz Cartlon Hotel on Saturday afternoon.

Guests, to include US Senator Dianne Feinstein (CA), Congressman Buck McKeon (CA-25), Congressman Eric Swalwell (CA-15), and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa were greeted by Norine Fuller (Luncheon Chair) and fidmfashion designers like Kevan Hall who showed their collections in the FIDM multi-part show.

Everything from evening gowns to theatrical costumes — and even a tribute to the ultimate California girl… Barbie! — ritzed down the runway after some 700 attendees enjoyed lunch and a luxury showcase of the Golden State.
