Bourbon Steak Grand Opening

It’s technically been open for a few short weeks now, but (had there been any) the kinks are out! Bourbon Steak, Michael Mina’s famous chic steakhouse, revolutionizes the Four Seasons in Georgetown, and brings an entirely new aura to the famous first floor. Last night, Heather Freeman PR helped host its grand opening, showcasing the remarkable new decor and the FOOD!
Doesn’t that little burger in front of Heather Guay (at left) look soooo tempting? We snapped this shot just seconds before we snarfed the kobe beef mini-burger down!

You can’t even imagine the size of the claws on this lobster – used for decoration only last night. As much as I kept asking them to crack it and give me a mega-lobster meal, it was taken back to the kitchen at the end of the evening. Perhaps lobster bisque is on today’s menu??

There was even a science club demonstration, er… cool gastronomic dessert presentation. After my mousse mint, rolled and packed at well below freezing temperatures, literally evaporated at first bite… I was ready to float away as well.

Delish, delish, delish. Second helpings are definitely in order.
