Washington, D.C.’s own
Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum opens today (10th & F Street NE)! It’s a bit different than the other wax museums around the world – you can touch, see, and hear these 50 historical figures – including
Presidents Bush,
Kennedy, Roosevelt and other political figures, of course, but also
Former D.C. Mayor Marion Barry and
Katie Couric… did you know she was from Virginia?
Opening weekend only, tickets are $10. After, the price raises to $25… that’s $.50 per cold wax figure… hmm.

On the other side of the pond, there is a
last chance to see cold bodies – the somewhat unnerving
Bodies exhibit is in its last week at the Dome in Rosslyn. Enjoy!
