Cocktails, conversation and creativity followed freely Wednesday evening at the A Bar as Washingtonians gathered to celebrate the DC launch of Verily Magazine and discuss the theme, “We are the storytellers.”

Verily Magazine, a new bi-monthly print publication started by a diverse group of modern women feeling that mainstream media failed to reflect their lives and philosophies, is purported to be a fresh take on life; an honest message that relates to real experiences in an uplifting and affirming way.  Verily’s articles center around four main categories – style, relationships, culture and lifestyle.

“Verily is really a best friend for women and helps them celebrate the best receptionthat they are,” explained Contributing Editor & PR Manager Ashley Crouch.  “Verily gives them the permission to live the fulfilling integrated life that they imagine.”
