Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. An Artful Way to Celebrate Lincoln’s Birthday

One of the most artfully innovative ways to spend your evening is coming to what could become Washington’s most art-inspired restaurant.  

On February 11th and 12th, Lincoln Restaurant will give some creative customers a sneak peek at the much anticipated restaurant, holding ArtJamz sessions in its raw space before opening to the public.  

Take inspiration from local artist Maggie O’Neill‘s pop-art interior design, as well as from the artist herself – she’ll be a special guest during these sessions, painting alongside everyone… and all of those pennies!
