All That Glitters Will Not Be Forgotten

ArtJamz in Dupont Circle hosted its first New Year’s celebration with an artistic twist Monday night.  Having only opened in March, the sip and splash spot for artsy creatives had a blank canvas on which to design a unique New Year’s Eve: ArtJamz NYE13 Glitter Ball.

Graffiti walls, hors d’oeuvres and an à la carte bar greeted guests as they eased into their new roles — Picassos for the night.

Glitter Ball goers rang in the New Year, after canvas painting and glitter throwing, with a very fitting neon champagne toast!

The ArtJamz Dupont Studio will be moving locations in March 2013, but everyone will still be able to doodle in Dupont! The business is moving only four spaces down the street, where it will have double the studio space and will continue to be open seven days a week with new classes opportunities.

“I’m really excited that D.C. has embraced the concept,” said Michael Clements, ArtJamz owner, after the stroke of midnight.

With glitz, glam, glitter, and even a little grunge-chic, the Glitter Ball left a lasting twinkle in the eyes of guests as they went forth into 2013.
