Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. A Christmas Carol Plays at Ford’s Theatre

Bah Humbug! Ford’s Theatre is bringing in the holiday spirit with the season’s favorite on-stage haunt.

Now through January 1, join the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future as they lead the miserly A Christmas CarolEbenezer Scrooge on a journey of transformation and redemption in A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and adapted by Michael Wilson.

This version, conceived by Michael Baron, is full of music and magic — capturing the joy of the yuletide classic with acclaimed Washington stage actor Edward Gero (returning to play Scrooge).
