Ever asked yourself what you would do if you won the lottery? Well that’s exactly what Aysha Saeed, New York based designer, asked herself when deciding to switch careers from Wall Street to Fashion.
“I knew that if my answer of becoming a fashion designer was the same as an adult as it was as a teenager, that I must really have a passion for it,” Aysha said, hosting a cocktail networking hour Wednesday night at Dupont’s One Lounge for guests and fellow 85 Broads members who were privledged to an exclusive fashion show featuring her Fall 2010 collection.
85 Broads, founded by women employees of Goldman Sachs, is a network of women dedicated to inspiring and empowering women globally. With more than 25,000 members, 2,000 of which are a part of the DC Chapter, they believe in using their intellect and ambition to change the game for all women.
